Alibaba Cloud Global Accelerator is a network service that helps businesses and developers accelerate the delivery of web applications globally. 

It optimises traffic routing by leveraging Alibaba Cloud’s global private network - Border Gateway Protocol - to reduce latency for deployment in multiple locations. Global Accelerator works by connecting end users to the nearest access points within Alibaba Cloud's network.

Alibaba Cloud Global Accelerator in China

While Global Accelerator products can deliver some form of acceleration with access points near/in China, the product does not resolve code-based incompatibility issues found on websites in China. 

As a result, visitors accessing a website using Alibaba Cloud Global Accelerator may encounter interaction and accessibility issues in China. 

Provided that Alibaba Cloud Global Accelerator remains accessible - albeit non-performant - a China-specialised 3rd-party resource optimisation tool like Chinafy may be used to optimise the Alibaba Cloud Global Accelerator for improved performance in China.
