User-Agent

The User-Agent is an identifier that represents a user (e.g., a browser, device, etc.), within the context of the internet and/or web performance.

The user-agent is a characteristic string in the HTTP request header that helps webservers and other network devices identify the application, operating system, vendor, and/or, version of the user-agent making the specific request.

For example,

user-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KTHML, like Gecko) Chrome/85.0.4183.83 Safari/537.36
